What: Chicago’s original white pop-up dinner, Chicago in White, returns this summer with a new venue and exciting surprises.
Where: Ravinia Festival (200 Ravinia Park Rd)
When: August 8th, 2015
“This year, we’re excited to debut a special edition of Chicago in White that not only takes advantage of a venue that is unique to Chicago, but also allows us to give back to the community. By partnering with Ravinia Festival, we’re able to offer a more immersive experience that joins music, food and friends,” said Jen Luby, Co-Founder of Chicago in White.
With tables, chairs and linens provided, guests can focus on creating the ultimate white ensemble and gourmet picnic menu. Guests are encouraged to outfit their tables with extravagant china, silverware, glasses, white napkins and other personal touches to create their own al fresco fine dining experience.
“Past events have drawn Chicagoans from all walks of life from college students, business professionals, food & beverage industry vets, suburban foodies and more, said Kelly Williams, Chicago in White Co-Founder. “With Ravinia Festival easily accessible from Chicago and beyond via the Metra, we’re excited to see an even more eclectic crowd with guests from all over the Chicagoland area.”
New this year, Chicago in White has a charity partner that will receive a portion of the ticket sales. This year’s partner is Ravinia’s REACH*TEACH*PLAY program, which serves over 75,000 people each year throughout the Chicago area, ensuring that music education remains accessible to all.
Tickets: $30 per person and includes the admission to the concert as well as tables, chairs and linens and seating begins at 6pm. Space is limited and tickets are expected to sell out quickly. Previous year’s tickets have sold out within minutes. Tickets can be purchased at ChicagoinWhite2015.eventbrite.com.
