Southport & Irving (SIP) is excited to announce the launch of the “Share Our Soup” series, benefiting Lakeview Pantry, one of Chicago’s largest and longest-operating food pantries. From now, until March 15th, $1 from every bowl of soup sold will go directly to the charity

About Lakeview Pantry:
One of Chicago’s largest and longest-operating food pantries, Lakeview Pantry’s mission is to eliminate hunger and poverty in our community by providing food to fill the basic need of hungry people; increasing the independence of our clients through self-help initiatives and other innovative programs; and raising awareness of hunger and poverty and working towards solutions to eliminate them.

Our vision is to be a stable presence in the communities we serve, and to be a model of compassionate, effective, and collaborative service delivery by building upon our Food Distribution excellence, achieving Client Services excellence, and building capacity and strengthening our ability to carry out our mission.

Classics:
• Homemade Chicken Soup with Handmade Noodles
• French Onion with Baked Gruyere and Baguette
• Tom Ka Coconut and Curry with Chicken
• Genesis Farmers Market Vegetable with Truffle Pesto
• Roasted Heirloom Squash with Fried Sage

Contemporary Revamps:
• Smoked Pork and Mushroom Ramen
• Fried Chicken and Andouille Gumbo
• Bone Broth with Chicken and Pork Meatball
• Smoked Pork Pozole with Radish, Egg, and Cabbage
• Vegetable Consomme with Sous Vide Market Vegetables and Puffed Quinoa
