SideDoor Presents Culinary Brewed

Details: Executive Chef Brian Kwak of SideDoor (corner of Rush and Ontario Streets) collaborates with chef and brewer, Jared Rouben of Moody Tongue, to present locals with the restaurant’s inaugural guest chef dinner, “Culinary Brewed,” on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 7 p.m.

Rouben began his career as a chef at Michelin Star Martini House in Napa, in addition to working alongside three Michelin Star Thomas Keller of Per Se in New York City. Rouben’s previous profession sparked his “culinary brewing” business model, a new brewing genre that forges a connection between brewing and cooking.

The team at SideDoor found Rouben’s career path as an opportunity to take beer dinners to a new level with the launch of a “beer infused” guest chef dinner. In addition to Chef Kwak collaborating with Rouben in creating and presenting a six-course menu, Beverage Director Jeff Van Der Tuuk works alongside Rouben to present guests with paired brews during each course.
