Summer Reviews 02: Francesca’s
Francesca’s is always our favorite date night spot. The food, the wine and the atmosphere all make for a relaxing and enjoyable time. I don’t think we’ve ever once had a complain when eating at Francesca’s. We are always warmly greeted by the hostess, quickly seated (although reservations are great on a busy night!) and given the utmost positive hospitality. This week we chose to highlight Francesca’s because we truly believe this is THE date night spot.
Located in the Little Italy area of Chicago, Francesca’s is a key hotspot.
For Dates: Absolutely! This is one of the most romantic places you can have a date at without breaking the bank. The cozy tables with candles make you feel right at home!
Menu: The menu consists of a few key Italian appetizers, dishes and desserts! Don’t forget about the wine list- we recommend the Chianti for red wine lovers!
Atmosphere: We love the atmosphere here! There are a variety of different people all in one place for one common reason; delicious food! The mood is set with some candles and smooth lighting which makes you feel incredibly relaxed.
The Meal: After a very long day on Saturday, all we wanted was some Francesca’s! Sal opted for his favorite, Lobster Ravioli, and I went for one of my favorite’s- Penne Alla Norcina; sauteed with onion, sausage and pancetta in a three cheese sauce. One of the best parts of Francesca’s is everything is done so timely- we always know our food won’t take too long which is a perk when your waiting for your much anticipated food!
