You may have heard many cities described as having something for everyone. In some cases, that’s a bit of an exaggeration. When it comes to London, it definitely rings true. From sporting occasions to exceptional theatre, compelling historical buildings to beautiful outdoor parks and magnificent markets, you’re sure to find a few places in the UK’s capital city that will pique your interest.
Indeed, the biggest problem with London might be that it has so much to offer that it can be very difficult to pick the right places to stay, eat and visit. Thankfully, the dawn of TripAdvisor enables people to give objective opinions on hotels, restaurants and attractions so that prospective visitors will get a reasonably good insight as to what they can expect.
Also, TripAdvisor can rank each location within a city so that visitors can easily see which places have the best ratings. Perhaps the highest-rated hotels or restaurants are out of your budget, but there are filters you can use to find fantastic places which won’t cost an arm and a leg.
This infographic from L.A. Stretch Limos cuts down on some bit of TripAdvisor research by highlighting London’s highest-rated hotels, restaurants and attractions. Taking into account that not everyone can (or would) spend over £300 a night for a hotel room, and that people’s tastes in cuisine will vary greatly, there is a good cross-section of elite and best-value locations featured. For instance, if you want the true London experience of fish and chips, there is a tremendous spot in Greenwich where you can get an authentic British meal for less than £5. You can’t go wrong with that!
