WHAT: The 6th Annual Big Ten 10K
Dress up in your favorite school colors and compete for your Big Ten team in the 10K race or 5K run/walk. Afterward, kick-off the college football season in style with thousands of Big Ten fans at the ultimate post-race Fan Fest & Tailgate party!

Penn State football standout, retired Chicago Bear and social media sensation Anthony “Spice” Adams will serve as this year’s grand marshal and Special Olympics Chicago will return as the event’s nonprofit partner.
Following the race, stick around for the ultimate Big Ten Tailgate Party and Fan Fest, which will include a performance by Chicago-based cover band Maggie Speaks, team cheerleaders, Big Ten mascots, football-themed games and activities, such as corn hole, field-goal kicking and the 40-yard dash. The Tailgate Party and Fan Fest will also include tents hosted by the Chicago Big Ten Alumni Associations along with food and beverage concessions. Each race finisher will receive an Amylu sausage. For finishers 21 and older, they will also receive Revolution Brewery’s Cross of Gold beer. Revolution Brewery’s Rev Pils and Fist City will also be for sale at the Tailgate Party and Fan Fest.
