Let’s Drink: Cocktail Courier

Cocktail Courier delivers the finest craft cocktail recipes from the best bartenders in your city directly to your door. Started by “Shakestir” co-founder, Scott Goldman, Cocktail Courier is designed to solve one simple problem,

“There’s a huge gap between what the consumer drinks [when they’re] out, and what they are making at home. With Cocktail Courier, we’re changing that,” Goldman said.

Each month, a new recipe is featured for consumers to try at home. Bartenders choose the featured recipes through a Shakestir competition, which means masters of the cocktail craft are choosing your next drink.

So you want to try it yourself? Here’s how:

If you live in Chicago or NYC, head to cocktailcourier.com, pick your favorite drink, kick your feet up and wait for delivery. Thanks to a local team in each market, all orders placed by 11 a.m. will arrive that afternoon. Once they arrive, the drinks won’t be too hard to put together,

“These are all dummy proof,” Goldman joked.

Cocktail packages come complete with pre-measured ingredients (liquor included!) and an easy-to-follow recipe card with step-by-step instructions. All cocktails come in sets of 4, 6 or 12, or as part of a subscription package. And each box comes with the opportunity to add on the bar tools and glassware you need for that cocktail, which are sold separately by Shakestir. As an added bonus, the bartender who designed your cocktail earns a nice tip from every sale. All that’s left for you to do is shake or stir and enjoy!

The “Paloma Pop” is a fruity cocktail recipe containing Avion Silver Tequila, Combier Pamplemousse Liqueur and other fresh ingredients that can be made into a tasty popsicle right at home! Each kit is delivered with pre-measured ingredients (including the liquor!), a step-by-step recipe and all the tools necessary to easily make the popsicle. The “Paloma Pops” freeze overnight so they’ll be ready to go next-day for celebrating with friends and family on National Tequila Day!

Cocktail Courier is currently available in NYC and Chicago for same-day delivery and they will be able to ship nationwide to nearly 40 states in the coming weeks when they launch interstate shipping. A great option for gift giving!
