Let’s Dish: Picnic Season in Chicago

Chicago is the place to be in the summer. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, there are plentiful things to do in the city, even a huge amount that can be done for free which makes it just that much more enjoyable! From music in the park, to street festivals, to strolling the city for those hidden gems, eventually you’ll end up hungry. Though Chicago’s restaurant scene is not to be missed, you also don’t want to miss the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors in a way that you can only do in the summertime.

TETE’s grab-and-go sandwiches from Chefs Kurt Guzowski and Thomas Rice will be the star of your summer picnic basket. For $12 Mon-Sat, guests can snag a gourmet sandwich, salt and pepper chips, and a can of La Croix. Sandwiches to look forward to include:
· Jambon Buerre- Parisian ham, gruyere, salted butter, baguette

· Italian Sausage – Spicy arribiatta sauce, mozzarella cheese

· Braut – Jalapeno-cheddar braut, sautéed onions, herb mustard

· Pate De Campagne – Pork & liver terrine, pickles, dijonnaise, pain au lavain

· Salumi – Chorizo, manchego, arugula, romesco

Picnic Basket Menu/Specials from Chef Evan Behmer ($20)
Filled with charcuterie, cheese, a baguette, and grapes. Each basket will serve two people, and guests can purchase additional items (bottled cocktails, wine, etc.)
