Oak Park is booming with some of the best and most delicious spots in the Chicagoland area, and Lake Street Kitchen & Bar is proof of that. Celebrating their 3rd anniversary in a big way, Executive Chef Jason Kurosaki of Lake Street has crafted a menu that preserves the restaurant’s trademark dishes that folks have fallen in love with.

Offering a selection of American, Asian, Mexican and European menu items, Lake Street is sure to be a treat no matter what your taste-buds are craving. Lake Street’s menu has really evolved since we opened in 2011,” says Chef Kurosaki. “In the past, we were heavily focused on the Mediterranean region and now it’s more American with Asian, Mexican and some European influences.”

About Lake Street Kitchen + Bar
Lake Street Kitchen + Bar, located in the heart of downtown Oak Park, was introduced in 2011 by Rachel Dennis. Executive Chef Jason Kurosaki helms the lunch, dinner and brunch menu, which consists of flatbreads, small plates, fresh oysters, paninis, charcuterie and an array of large plates featuring Beef Burgundy, Oxtail Ragu, seafood and more. All dishes are prepared in the restaurant’s “grease-free” kitchen. The extensive beverage menu is unmatched in Oak Park and features a unique lineup of local craft beers, over 40 wines by the glass and fresh, seasonal cocktails. The open kitchen and WoodStone oven serves as the focal point of the restaurant. Lake Street’s design includes solid walnut bars and tables, slate floors and walls and metal and wood plank touches.
