Let’s Dish: Chez Moi

The start of the new season brings warm comfort foods to our plates, leading to even more exciting opportunities for French cuisine in Chicago. Chez Moi, located at 2100 N. Halsted, has new food and drink items to compliment the brisk weather, not to mention the recent happy hour regulations in town.

As Chef Dominique Tougne describes the “Chez Moi Revolution”, he hopes his guests enjoy the experience of French dining and while focusing on the personalization of their own meal. With an array of food and wine to choose from, Chez Moi encourages customers to invite themselves into a glass, not because the rules say it tastes well with red meats/fish/etc., but instead by what their instinct (and belly) is telling them.

Top choices to look out for on the new menu include:

Zind Humbrecht 2013:
Pinot Blanc with fresh citrus fruit notes

Lou Coucardie 2011:
Deep red with an aroma of dark berries, vanilla and spices
