Let’s Dish: Bite of the Week {April 20th, 2015}

We’re back with bites and sips from all over to bring you Bite of the Week.

Bite of the Week was founded by our very talented contributor, Victoria Kent, and is an ongoing series that we are encouraging our readers to get involved with. Each week, our Binge reps from all over will dish on one delicious bite (or drink) that they want to share with you! We encourage you (from all over the world) to send us photos & a small description of your bite & where you ate it at!

“Nachos are hard to mess up and by the same token it can be hard to make them special. They’re the kind of like pizza and tacos. Even when they’re bad, they’re still pretty good. Mercadito Counter is doing it right with chips that are crispy and enough toppings to ensure that each bite has a mix of beans, cheese, avocado, pico and juicy steak. I paired mine with a frosty Mexican Coke, but I’ll be back to try some of their margs. Need to sober up? Mercadito Counter is open until 4am on Fridays and Saturdays!”

This fried dough with parmesan cheese, herbs and spicy tomato suace is instant happiness to your mouth and makes you want to pocket some like Napolean Dynamite and snack on them at work.”

Now, I’d be hesitant to order them if they weren’t suggested, so I wanted to be the one who suggests them to you. TRY THEM! The feta cheese fondue is cheese heaven and it compliments the meat in a way that will have you eating them until they’re gone. The oven dried tomatoes bring a refreshing taste back to your palate and I know these will be a hit in the Summer! They are filling without being overwhelming and are great for sharing.”
