Chicago, IL – JustJay Entertainment announces one of the largest Black Wednesday Concerts in Chicago History, The My Garden Tour, featuring Epic Records Billboard top 10 charting artist Kat Dahlia. The event will be held on Wednesday November 26th, 2014 at The Portage Theater, 4050 N. Milwaukee Ave at 8pm. Hailing from Miami Florida, Kat Dahlia’s fusion of R&B, Pop, and Hip Hop, razor sharp lyrics and unique, aggressive flow has taken the industry by storm. After waiting tables until she saved up enough money to pay for her own studio time, Dahlia wrote her first hit single “Gangsta” and was signed to Epic Records in 2010. Her newly released single “Crazy” has topped every major top 40 radio market and continues to climb the charts. Dahlia is set to release her debut studio album My Garden in January 2015 which features production by award-winning producers Timbaland and Missy Elliott. Dahlia can be found sharing her unique experiences as an up-and-coming artist via social media at twitter.com/KatDahlia and instagram.com/katdahlia.
The O’My’s are Chicago’s premiere Rock & Soul band comprised of a multi-instrument, multi-ethnic crew of proud Chicagoans. The O’My’s have shared the stage with award-winning artists such as Chance The Rapper, Wyclef Jean, ZZ Ward, & Ab Soul. Their delicate arrangements, pounding rhythm section and soaring horns provide the perfect home to truly showcase lead vocalist Maceo Haymes’ commanding, raspy tone and smooth falsettos. The O’My’s can be found via social media at twitter.com/theomyslive and facebook.com/TheOmysBand.
Chicago female MC Noname Gypsy’s unorthodox, sultry approach and smooth melodic sound has gained her a strong following in Chicago and around the country. She received national attention for her verse on Chance The Rapper’s “Lost” from the critically acclaimed Acid Rap mixtape and continues to showcase her unique talent and respect for the art of music making.
