The Center For Enriched Living is a non-profit organization (www.centerforenrichedliving.co) located in Riverwoods, IL. The center emphasizes “friends, fun and belonging” for people of all ages living with developmental disabilities.
Hoo HA Comedy is five of Chicago’s top female comedians: Kristen Toomey, Reena Calm, Lara Beitz, Ali Clayton, and Meredith Kachel. They produce a weekly show every Tuesday at Rockit Burger Bar at 8:30 pm which has twice been named one of the “Best Shows in Chicago” by TimeOut Chicago.
One of the members of Hoo HA Comedy, Ali Clayton, also works as a caretaker for Bradley Kent, a member of TCFEL with special needs. Hoo HA Comedy is hosting a benefit comedy show at Billy Dec’s Rockit Burger Bar on September 30th at 8 pm to fundraise for the center. Hoo Ha Comedy comes to Rockit Burger Bar every Tuesday night with the show returning Tuesday, September 9th. Specials include 1Ž2 price draft pitchers, $15 craft beer buckets and $3 PBR.
The show will be co-hosted by Ali Clayton and Bradley Kent and will feature comedians Martin Morrow (Laugh Factory regular), Mike Lebovitz (Just For Laughs Montreal), Kristen Toomey (Hoo HA Comedy). Patti Vasquez (WGN radio, national headliner), who is herself the mother of a child with special needs, is set to headline the event.
