Friends of Prentice Goes All in for Prentice Women’s Hospital in Honor of Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day is right around the corner, and plans are in full gear. This May, Friends of Prentice, the volunteer fundraising board for Prentice Women’s Hospital has teamed up with some of Chicago’s best eateries, fitness facilities, and more in honor of Mother’s Day. See below to find out how you can get involved!

The contributions – from brunch to Barre – will support the FOP mission to fund research and clinical programs to improve the lives of women and infants in Chicago.

WHAT: Chicago eateries, fitness boutiques and shops will donate a portion of proceeds during the month of May to Friends of Prentice, the volunteer fundraising board of Northwestern Memorial Hospital’s Prentice Women’s Hospital in honor of Mother’s Day. The contributions – from brunch to Barre – will support the Friends of Prentice mission to fund life changing research and clinical trials to improve the lives of women and infants in the Chicagoland area and beyond.

WHEN: May 1 – May 31, 2015

WHERE: Participating Local Businesses (see below)

Barre Code will host four classes, of which all proceeds will be donated to Friends of Prentice:
Two classes on Saturday, May 16th and two on Sunday, May 17th
Class will cost $25 (bring a friend for free), and will be held at both the Lakeview and River North studio locations. See website for details.

$10 suggested donation

Hubbard Inn will donate one dollar from every Mother’s Day Brunch ticket

Four Corners Tavern group will donate a portion of proceeds from signature skillet cookies

WHY: Friends of Prentice is a volunteer fundraising board dedicated to advancing the quality of care provided to women and infants in Chicagoland and beyond. To date, Friends of Prentice has raised nearly $20 million to support research, education and patient care programs at Prentice Women’s Hospital.
