“Put it this way: every time you are around pessimistic or neutral people, especially during bad weather, it will become infectious on you without you even knowing it. You will then be dragged to that level if you refuse to find the positive crowd. Having the right people in your life will set the tone and mood in your life in so many ways.”-Ben Hart

Let us know how you’re beating the winter blues this season!
1) Change your mindset
Find an empowering focus in any situation. Yes, that includes bad weather. Doesn’t that sound ridiculous? Weather controls the way we look at our day? Yes, it does for most of us, and if you let it take you down hill you won’t be able to get greatness out of everyday. My tip is to refine your focus on what you really want and eliminate the possibility of the weather getting in your way. The glass is not half empty – EVER. It’s half full… Now keep that state of mind and go on with your day. It’s never the situation…it’s always the meaning you put to your situation that really matters. Real goals don’t let external forces get in the way, which means the winter weather cannot be a determining factor for your greatness level. Get positive and stay positive. Here’s how:
2) Surround yourself with the right people:
Step two would be to surround yourself with positive people who support your train of thinking. I can’t even express how important this is. Put it this way: every time you are around pessimistic or neutral people, especially during bad weather, it will become infectious on you without you even knowing it. You will then be dragged to that level if you refuse to find the positive crowd. Having the right people in your life will set the tone and mood in your life in so many ways. For example, you know when it is just a terrible day out but yet you know a few people who are still so happy and so driven to be productive in their life? Yeah, those are the people you want in your life to have some positive impact on you. Attracting the right people to your circle will help keep you on point and see the great part of EVERY situation you get yourself into.
3) Try working out in the morning
Working out in the morning will not only give you a better outlook on the rest of the day knowing your workout is done, but it increases your blood flow and helps release the right hormones that boost your mood. For most people, on most days, the longer they wait to workout in a given day, the higher the likelihood that they don’t work out. So eliminate this chance and head to your workout, wherever that may be, first thing in the morning. I promise you will notice a difference in your energy, mood, and endurance throughout the day.
